Photos of our Legoland Trip!
We had such a great time at Legoland!
First of all we took part in a Tall Towers workshop. The children were timed and had to build a tower out of lego bricks that would resist being knocked down when placed on specially vibrating tables! Some of us were very successful! We had to think very carefully about which structures were stable and why!
We then had time before lunch to do the boat ride through Fairyland where we met many of the characters from the traditional tales we had been exploring in Literacy.
After lunch we split into groups and took our 'driving tests' in special cars, learnt how to operate a fire engine and went to look at lego dinosaurs!
There was just time to get on the train back to the coach park, whilst trying to avoid the pouring rain at the end of a very enjoyable day!
