Summer Term
This term, Year 5 supported the local food bank charity, The One Can Trust. In the second half of the summer term, Mrs Clay (Rae's mum, who works with the One Can Trust) came into our class to talk to us about the charity and why the summer time can be a difficult time for some families.
After this, the children promoted the One Can Trust to all the school and asked for donations, which they collected throughout our 'Healthy Hero's ' week. Mrs Akehurst then delivered the donations in her car, which was very full!
