Week 1
Thank you and well done to all the children who brought in their February half term homework!
This week year 5 and 6 had a visit from Show Racism The Red Card Charity, they enjoyed the day learning about which terms are acceptable to use and how we should consider the feelings of others even our close friends.
In Literacy we have been looking at narrative poetry and the poem 'The Listeners', despite storm Dorris we managed to get outside and do some outdoor learning.
Friday was international day, in their house teams the children worked through a number of different countries; China, Russia, Italy and America. In the afternoon we looked at The Gambia and made some African masks!
