Week 3

Children in Need Day 2016! - All the children came into school wearing spots. Thank you for your donations.

Anti-bullying week! - Throughout the week we have recapped various types of bullying and discuss how we can use our 'Power for Good'.

Switch Off Fortnight! - The eco-committee have been very busy encouraging both pupils and staff to turn off their unused electrical appliances. Lets save electricity!

The weeks are just getting busier!

Monday was very exciting as the whole class went to Holmer Green Senior School to take part in a handball competition. Every child played well and team 1 even ended up winning their section of the tournament overall! Well done!

In maths this week we have been working on time: telling the time, converting between analogue and digital and problem solving with time.

In Literacy we have started our myths topic which the children are very excited about! We have read Theseus and the Minotaur and the children have all written excellent diary entries as though they were Theseus or Ariadne (the princess).

Geography was also fun packed! The children were planning their own holiday to Greece for two adults and one child. This involved using the ipads to find their hotel, transport, activities and food. All of their purchases had to be under a budget of £5000 so abit of maths was involved too. All of the children managed to create some exciting Greek holidays, good work!
