Week 4
The week started off with a lovely sharing assembly to the school. I was really proud of how well the children spoke and showed their work.
In maths they tackled using money - making amounts with different coins and adding them. In literacy the children wrote super newspaper articles about Ruby the Bear’s escape from the toy factory. They looked at newspapers to explore headlines and how the text is different.
BUT ...the biggest excitement of the week was the visit by Pop and Maui!
The children learnt about habitats and how we need to care for the planet and save animals from becoming extinct. Then they were very brave and handled both animals (even Mrs S!)
