Online Safety

At High Wycombe Church of England School, keeping children safe online is a vital part of our safeguarding work. Below you will find our Online Safety Policy, which explains how we help pupils stay safe and responsible when using technology both in school and at home.

Useful Resources for Families

Here are some trusted sites to help children and parents learn more about staying safe online:

Top Tips for Parents

  • Set parental controls on devices and apps.

  • Talk regularly with your child about what they do online.

  • Encourage children to tell a trusted adult if something makes them feel uncomfortable.

  • Keep devices in shared family spaces when possible.

  • Model responsible online behaviour as adults.
