Operation Encompass 
Our school takes part in Operation Encompass, a national initiative that helps schools to support children and young people who are affected by domestic abuse. 

This means that the school receives a notification from the police before the start of the next school day if a child has been involved in, or exposed to, a domestic abuse incident. This enables us to offer help and support as early as possible. 

All families are reminded regularly that we receive these notifications and that we have a duty to respond with care, sensitivity, and appropriate support for every child’s wellbeing.
