We prioritise effective progress monitoring to ensure that all pupils, including those with SEND, fully access and retain the curriculum. Our approach provides teachers with valuable insights into each child’s academic, social, and emotional development. 

To measure impact, we: 

• Observe and assess pupil progress continuously, using a range of academic and holistic measures 

• Use entry and exit assessments for interventions to evaluate their effectiveness 

• Develop and review Personal Learning Plans (ILPs) with specific, measurable targets 

• Regularly review progress through the Assess-Plan-Do-Review cycle, involving parents/carers and pupils 

• Collaborate with external agencies to access specialist advice and support 

Through this comprehensive approach, SEND pupils feel safe, confident, and independent, actively engaging in their learning and developing essential skills for future success. Regular reviews and updates to ILPs ensure every pupil receives the personalised support they need to thrive
