  • Our Vision Characters

At High Wycombe Church of England School, we strive to live out our Christian vision to “Be strong and courageous” in all that we do. Central to this is the embedding of our Christian Values for Living and our Behaviours for Learning into every aspect of school life, shaping the way we learn, grow, and interact as a community. To help children understand and embody these principles, we have created Vision Characters. Each character represents one of our learning behaviours, demonstrating that these qualities - such as resilience, curiosity, reflection, teamwork, motivation, and independence - are traits that we develop and show in our daily lives. Each character is also linked to a Christian value - such as compassion, forgiveness, respect, thankfulness, hope, or peace - highlighting that these values underpin and guide how we live out those behaviours. Together, they provide a framework that supports our children in becoming confident learners, compassionate individuals, and courageous advocates who look inwards, outwards, and upwards as they grow in character and spirituality.
