Week 2
In Maths this week, we have been continuing the place value topic looking at sorting, counting and representing objects. The children had opportunities to sort different objects within the classroom to show their maths skills. In Literacy we are continuing with our book 'Here We Are' by Oliver Jeffers, and have been creating lyrics for another verse of Louis Armstrong's 'What a Wonderful World'.
In Geography, we learnt about China and how they celebrate Chinese New Year. The children made dragon puppets for a New Year parade around the classroom. In Science, Mr Burgin challenged the children to create amphibian/ reptile models.
