Week 2
In Maths, we have been finishing the addition topic, bringing together all the learning we have done so far in this topic. In Literacy, we looked at setting description. The children used all their sense to help with writing about a place.
In PE, we have started our new unit on Dance. The theme of our dances will be 'The Zoo'. This week we thought about how we could move like small animals. The children were very creative and helped each other to move around the space in different ways. In Music, the children have started to learn the songs and dances for the Christmas performance. Do feel free to continue practicing these at home! In DT, we have begun the new moving pictures topic. The children will be finding out about different ways pictures can move before designing and making a moving pictures Christmas card.
