Week 3
This week in maths the children have continued to learn about time, using both the analogue and digital time to solve problems. Using the book The Twits, the children explored play scripts in English which ended in them writing their own and then some of them reading them out to the class.
In PE the children continue to learn their dance and in games we tried to do some volleyball skills outside (but then it got too cold, so we ran the mile instead).
The theme for this week has been united in friendship, the children have been discussing and doing role plays about what makes a good friend. Lots of them have shown they can be a good friend to one another, which has been lovely to see. Alongside this, it has also been road safety week, so the children have looked at videos and completed activities around this.
