Week 5
Literacy
In Literacy we read the story of Cinderfella. It was great and the children really enjoyed listening to the alternative tale. We explored how the story was different to Cinderella and then we had a whole class quiz and answered some questions about the story. As the week carried on we did some talk for writing to retell the story of Cinderfella. It’s been a great strategy to help us with our sequencing skills and retrieval skills.
Maths
In maths the children have done some recapping of positions and directions. We did some active learning and practised using left, right, forwards and backwards.
