Week 5
This week year 3 have continued to develop their fraction knowledge (unit and non-unit fractions, fractions of an amount), which they find challenging. In literacy, the children have been exploring The Twits by Roald Dahl, creating their own calligraphy poem of Mr Twit’s beard or Mrs Twits eye. During their Geography lesson, the children were exploring about extreme climates and have created some posters about Antarctica and the Sahara Desert.
The children enjoyed performing the Enormous Turnip at our Harvest Festival on Thursday at All Saints Church.
