Autumn Week 5
Maths
This week in maths we have been focusing on written methods for subtraction, as well as mental calculations for addition and subtraction.
Literacy
This week in literacy we have been learning fronted adverbials and trying to put this into our writing. We delved deeper into Cogheart, looking at what had happened so far and out predictions for the rest of the book.
Other Subjects
In geography we have continued to study rivers, focusing on waterfalls and gorges.
In history we learnt about about Victorian Life.
Science we continued to classify different animals.
PE
This week was our games session was still with Wycombe Wanderers Football Club. We also played throw tennis on Wednesday.
Art
In art we are studying Van Gogh and tried to imitate his style of painting. Check out our Queen Victoria portraits.
