On Tuesday this week, it was Internet Safety Day. In Year 5, a lot of us like online gaming so it is important to know how to stay safe and avoid potential dangers. We also need to remember to be kind and respectful to other users and what to do if something upsetting occurs. We made 'fortune-tellers' and produced posters all about this.
In our PE lessons,we are continuing with our 'Physical' unit. The challenges of stamina, co-ordination and communication whilst passing and receiving a ball accurately using different styles of passes grow ever harder!
The highlight of our week was our class assembly on thetopic of 'Space'. It went really well and the whole school was entertained. We still wish we could perform it live to share ith our parents though.
In French, we have continued to explore our topic of food. We are learning to say what we like and don't like. Our interactive whiteboard is helping with this and we love using it to drag and drop different words and phrases.
We have loved our Art topic this term and have enjoyed learning about different art movements since the 1940s. We are very proud of the display outside our classroom.
