Week 6

Our maths lessons this week has involved looking at data.  We have begun the week by asking everyone how they travelled into school, constructed a tally chart as a whole class and then with our bodies made a human chart.

Literacy

Last week we based our learning on using subordinated conjunctions to see if we preferred the story of Jack and The Beanstalk or Jack and the Baked Beanstalk.  We have used our knowledge of subordinated conjunctions and what we know about foods, exercise and sleep to explain why it is important to have a healthy and balanced lifestyle.  The children have produced some explanation writing where they can use this vocabulary to try and explain to their audience the importance of a healthy and balanced lifestyle.

We held our class competitions this week in PE doing multi skills.  Congratulations Surfers!
