Meeting with Sam from Wycombe Homeless Connection
This term, Eagles’ citizenship project will involve learning about and supporting the work of Wycombe Homeless Connection. Last Tuesday, we were visited by Sam from the charity who gave us some background into how people become homeless, what some of the current issues are with homelessness in High Wycombe, and how we can support the charity in school. We will now take time to consider what we can actively do to support the charity in school. This will most likely involve some form of collecting donations, possibly household items or canned meals.
