Ofsted Reports

Ofsted Inspection

High Wycombe Church of England School had an ungraded inspection in April 2023. It was judged that the school

remains good.

It is pleasing that Ofsted recognised the impact our teaching and learning has on all children’s progress. I am also reassured that the target identified by the Inspector was already in our School Improvement Plan and we were quick to act on them.

I am most proud of what the inspector said about the pupils and staff of the school and hope you will agree that the picture of High Wycombe Church of England School that takes shape in the report matches the Christian Vision and Values statements that our whole school community contributes to:

‘Pupils listen respectfully and are well behaved in lessons. They are enthusiastic about their learning. They respond well to teachers’ high expectations, enabling them to achieve well.’

As ever, this provides a benchmark on which we shall build our efforts to improve the school further with our ambition to move from a good school to an outstanding one.
