Our Trip to London

On Thursday 25th November we went on our school trip to London. First we visited the London Fire Brigade Museum. Here we got to learn about the Great Fire as well as fire safety. We also had a chance to look at a lot of fire engines. We learnt how the fire engines have changed over the years. We then had a go at trying on lots of old fire fighter uniforms. They were all very heavy and we were glad we didn't have to wear them for long. In the afternoon we walked from the museum to see the Monument for the Great Fire of London. It was very tall and we had to stand very far back so that we could see it all. We then walked across the road to see the sign for Pudding Lane - where the fire started. After all that walking we made it safely back to our coach.
