Week 1
Maths
Our focus in maths this week has been place value. We have been investigating the difference between tens and ones, partitioning a 2 digit number into tens and ones and then finding interesting ways to partition numbers. It has been very beneficial to use the part whole models and maths equipment to help support our understanding, especially when we are adding values of ones and tens.
PE
It was another opportunity for us to get stuck into some archery this week. The children has a feel of using a bow and arrow and how to hold it before releasing and trying to shoot onto a target. It wasn't as easy as it looked!
