Week 2
This week the children wrote some lovely poems in their groups. They based them on our 5 senses and thought about how colours can represent different emotions. At the end of the week, they wrote poems about war which are on display in class. Remembrance
Was a key theme for the week with assemblies and discussions. The children were really thoughtful in their answers. They worked beautifully together to recreate a 'poppy making factory' and made lovely poppy wreaths.
they enjoyed Godly Play and Mrs Russell was impressed with their cooperation and responses.
In maths they used tens and ones to add and subtract and also focussed on one more, one less on 100 grids.
Our footballers had a great time and represented their school proudly - well done!
