Art in nature
Not many photos this week as the children worked so hard on their tests.
They wrote some super character descriptions for the three billy goats gruff and the troll. Great reading too!
They did enjoy looking for natural material to make art sculptures. They looked at the work of Andy Goldsworthy for inspiration and there was a real variety of ideas. Two children used their initials to depict their friendship, others created rabbit faces, a dining room for mini beasts, 3D birds and some lovely spiral or symmetrical patterns.
The children began to practise for races day and tried skipping, egg and spoon and sack races.
