Week 4
Snow, hail and ice were the main features of this week! I will update with photos on Monday as I left the iPad in school!
Thanks to all of you who shared their childhood memories. The children loved hearing about what you played with and were stunned that hardly anyone had computers! I hope you enjoyed spending the time with them talking about the good old days!!
In Literacy the children read Handa’s Surprise and retold the story. After tasting pineapple, guava, mango, passion fruit and avocado they wrote lovely descriptions of the fruits. Needless to say, some were more popular than others😩
in maths we continued to use different models to work out calculations.
We planted cress seeds in science and decided to clear a patch in the garden to plant bee and butterfly friendly flowers (when it warms up a bit!)
