Week 5
We continue to look at non-chronological reports in Literacy - The children have begun to sort, order and add missing features to existing reports as well as adding their own knowledge on the report topics. In Maths we looked a bit more at shape and then moved on to position and direction. Everyone enjoyed creating their own rhymes to remember the direction vocabulary and then trying to give their partner accurate directions using these.
In other news:
The children have been applying for jobs as copper miners in history. Designing their healthy sandwiches in DT (some very interesting combinations of ingredients occurring). Recorders are sounding good. They have all been great during extended hymn practices and rehearsals and the singing from year 3 is sounding great!
