Week 6
This week was our final lesson writing play scripts. Everyone has worked really hard to produce funny play scripts using the correct features. They are all now confident to apply their knowledge to their own story ideas.
In maths we have been solving problems using money. All the children said they were very good at spending money so we have been focusing on being able to count coins/notes and then add and subtract amounts. This was a fun and practical week which hopefully has given them a greater understand of what they are spending.
In other subjects...
The class are still loving PE and Games lessons and they all work really well to support each other with individual challenges. We completed our last art lesson on self portraits, continued to explore with and test the strength of magnets in science and wrote fantastic reports on our prehistoric beasts.

After our first half term together, I am pleased to see and hear that all of the children have settled into year 3 so well. They all deserve a good break over the holidays and I look forward to seeing them for a jam packed half term leading up to Christmas.
