Year 6 Enterprise team come 2nd in interschools competition
Wed 24 Mar 2010Last night (Tuesday 23rd March) our Year 6 Enterprise team came 2nd in an interschools competition. There were 12 Primary schools represented in the competition. Our team members were: Adam Lipinksi, Callum Morriss, George Bis, Jack White, Kristian Herath, Mitchell Siviranjitham, Ryan Alexander and Will Dutnall. It was a great display of teamwork and creativity. Keep an eye out for the newpaper report to follow shortly. -
International Food Fair a great success!!
Thu 04 Mar 2010In the hall after school today cutures and cuisines from all around the world came together in a special International Food fair during which everybody was invited to sample dishes and try new food! From coconut cake to chiili chocolate, soda bread to tsatsziki, sushi to pakoras, (and much more besides!) we all came, saw, ate and thoroughly enjoyed! From the looks of the tables at the end of the afternoon - no-one went home hungry! Many many thanks to all of you who donated food, helped to set up, clear away and generally ensure the smooth running of the afternoon. It was lovely to see so many parents and children together in what was a fantastic communal experience. Thanks too to our wonderful orchestra who serenaded us as we ate. As one parent so ably put it: 'let's do it again soon'!
