Year 6
School Grounds
Year 6 have been thinking about how we can use the school grounds to help others. We want to look at the free spaces available and investigate how we can utilize them to help both nature and those in our community.
At the beginning of the year we thought about all the things that we could do and made commitments to help make sure we made progress.
Research
We researched all the different options of things we could grow and the conditions needed for each option. We created mindmaps showing what we had found out.
We are also going to plant some wild flowers to attract bees and other insects to our school environment.
