2023-2024

We had great fun on Number day- we calculated the average weight of our potatoes and solved penguin problems after reading ‘365 Penguins’.

We welcomed Reverend Anthony Searle from All Saints church to bless our classroom and school at the start of a new year.

Year 5 travelled to outer space (from the safety of the Wonderdome in the school hall!) and learnt all about the solar system, how we measure time, the space race and more!

We created Lego algorithms during computing day! Can you guess what theses pieces make? Follow the steps to find out...

Look at these delicious biscuits! We had lots of fun designing, baking and tasting!

We had great fun designing, making and decorating our Greek pottery.

We put on a wonderful show for our Ancient Greek class assembly. Everyone spoke so confidently and enjoyed our fun dance routines. Well done Year 5!

We were thrilled to welcome the NSPCC into our classroom, particularly ‘Buddy’, to talk about different kinds of abuse and what we should do when we have worries.

There was some wonderful Harvest poems written for homework.

We had a brilliant experience going back in time to Ancient Greece in our Prime VR workshop!
