Week 2
Literacy
Our focus this week has been retelling the story of Paddington Goes for Gold. We have thought about the introduction, build up, problem, solution and ending with a lot of thought. The children have also been creating some freeze frames to highlight what has been happening throughout the story.
Maths
This week in maths we have been looking at addition and subtraction. The children looked at fact families, how we could represent these but also related facts and what makes them different or the same.
PE
In PE this term our topic has been cricket. We have carefully thought about using the space around us effectively and how we can prepare ourselves to throw and receive a ball.
