Week 2
PE
Our REAL PE cog this term is 'Physical'. We have our first session which focused on ball control, receiving and catching.
Alternative PE - Crazy Catch
We really enjoy our first Games lesson of the term because we get an opportunity to play an alternative sport. This term was Crazy catch. The children used different kinds of balls and on different kinds of nets we played some games.
Maths
In maths this week our focus has been place value. We have looked at how to represent a 2 digit number using maths equipment and in written methods. We have also practised partitioning into tens and ones but also in other different ways.
In Literacy we have read the story 'Captain Flinn and the Pirate Dinosaurs'. We revisited the features of a newspaper report before we wrote a report on Flinn finding a mysterious pirate under the curtain.
