Week 3

This week the children have developed their mathematical skills of multiplication and division, they found this challenging therefore realise the importance of knowing their times tables. In literacy, the children have written instructions on how to catch a Stone Age animal of their own choice. Please see photos for some examples of their writing.
In RE, the children are are half way through their topic of Hinduism, where they have been learning the story about Rama and Sita. Please take a look at the photos of their PE and games lessons, which all the children seem to thoroughly enjoy.

In Science, we are learning about 'Forces'. We carried out an experiment investigating how a heavy box could be pushed across different surfaces. We found out that rough surfaces like the carpet and certain materials, like rubber, have more friction so the force pushes back against objects in a greater amount.
