Week 3

In Literacy, we have been continuing to look at 'The Three Little Pigs' by analysing the features of a traditional tale, ready to create our own next week. The children created their own villain and wrote descriptions for each house their characters will make. In Maths, we have moved onto addition. We have been using a variety of methods to add numbers together, such as jumps forward and related number bonds.

In Geography, we have moved onto learning about the individual seasons, this week focusing on Spring. In Art, we recapped learning on primary colours from last week before moving onto secondary colours. The children had great fun mixing colours and creating Mark Rothko inspired field paintings. In Computing, we looked at different traditional tales' book covers and drew copies in readiness for designing our own e-book later in the half term. In PE, we had our first football session with Wycombe Wanderers, focusing on ball mastery.
