Week 4

On Tuesday, the Roving Bookshop came to our school. Eagles were able to spend their pocket money on books (we consider this very worthwhile!). It was great to have so many to choose from and even better that the school got to profit by having a percentage of what pupils spent to buy books for the school library.

On Tuesday, several of our boys were in the school team that played their final league game against Manor Farm. Having won all our previous league games, we hoped to end the season with 100% win rate. Sadly, this wasn't to be and we lost. Nevertheless, we kept smiling and never gave up. We will have to wait on future results to see if we win the league but as Manor farm have such a strong team, this doesn't look likely.

In PE. we have been working creatively and using our brains as well as our bodies to devise strategies to win games. Here are Year 5 (Eagles) and Year 6 (Owls) - who we share our PE lesson with at the moment whilst others are swimming - plotting their tactics together before taking on each other.

In Music, we are getting ready for the Easter service and have also been developing our ukulele playing skills.
