Week 5
Literacy
This week the children have looked at the importance and benefits of washing your hands, especially around the time of Mary Seacole and Florence Nightingale. We had two volunteers dirty their hands and then the rest of us gave the, step by step instructions explaining what to do to wash their hands.
Maths
Our focus this week in maths in weighing. The children were practising weighing different objects and counting up in multiples of different amounts on a scale.
REAL PE
The children continued to look at some of their balancing skills. We focused on using a partner to support one another at different levels and through different strategies.
