Woodland Trust Green Tree Award
We have worked towards earning our Silver Green Tree Award. We have completed lots of activities that have earned us points, as well as additional activities to help us learn more about our local environment.
We took some time to appreciate the trees we have in our school grounds. We made decorations to dress the tree in the KS2 quiet area, including bunting, prayers and poetry. We think it looks great! (2 points)
We went on a nature walk and took pictures of all the leaves we saw. We then came back to school and tried our best to identify them.
We designed tree champions - here are our favourites! (2 points)
We held a whole-school assembly where we shared a story about how important it is to plant trees and look after the local environment. (2 points)
We achieved our Silver Award at the end of the Summer Term. We're proud of ourselves!
