Year 2
Year 2 have been thinking about the cost of living crisis and how there are increasing numbers of people who cannot afford to feed themselves and their families.
We decided to continue to support the One Can Trust, which is a charity which supports people in our area with food parcels.
During Harvest, we organised a collection of food and hygiene products. As a school we collected 251 items! We loaded One Can's van with all of the donations so that they could be sorted and distributed.
We had a visit from Helen from One Can. We were able to ask her lots of questions about what One Can Trust does for our community and how it uses our donations to help people.
