A castle visit
We had a great day at Oxford Castle! We climbed spiral stairs-101 to be exact, fired arrows at invading Normans and climbed the mound. We found out about the Battle of Hastings, king Harold and William The Conqueror and how the battle was fought.
Oxford castle used to be a prison, right up until 1996! We visited the cells and put a prisoner in the pillory - Mrs Stewart 😁
