Lots of fun was had on (and in!) the water at Willen Lake!
Year 5 have loved being part of Energize and were part of 2 wonderful performances at the Wycombe Swan. We certainly have some talented performers in the class. Enjoy some behind the scenes snaps!
In Godly play, we discussed the 10 commandments and how difficult some can be to follow. We then enjoyed time to explore past stories we have looked at.
We had great fun in our growth mindset lesson, learning about the different parts of the brain and their function!
We had great fun measuring angles (and writing on the tables!). We estimated before measuring accurately and labelling angles.
We ROCKED on Number day!
On Brain Awareness day we celebrated our different talents. We decided what SMART we are best at and thought about how we can develop a SMART that we feel less confident with. The 9 SMARTS are... nature, people, 2D/3D, practical, music, word, number, self and body! Which one are you?
We had great fun designing and baking our biscuits! We are a class full of ‘Star Bakers’.
We took the school back in time to Ancient Greece, for our class assembly!
After weeks looking at Greek pottery and designing our own, we finally got our hands dirty and used clay to make Greek pots.
