Class Trip to Legoland: Tall Towers Workshop
During the last week of term Year 1 visited Legoland in Windsor as part of our DT topic: Playgrounds. We learnt about strong structures and built our own Tall Towers. We tested how strong they were on special vibrating tables! After lunch we went on the Fairytale Boat ride and enjoyed spotting all the characters from the tales we have read this term. When we got back to school we made our own playground equipment and used what we learnt at Legoland to make sure they were strong structures. We really enjoyed testing these using Lego people.
