Mosaics
We have managed to combine History (Roman) topic and Art (Changing Places) topic to create some colourful modern mosaics. The children in Kites came up with their own ideas for the mosaic designs. From the children's designs four were chosen to turn in to mosaics.
The children's designs chosen were:
Using broken pieces of tiles and glue the children skilfully recreated the images on to wooden frames to make beautiful finished mosaics.
The hope is that once sealed and weatherproofed a suitable home for them can be found and they can be displayed for all to see.
