High Wycombe Church of England School continues to be a good school after our most recent Ofsted inspection in October 2017.
It is pleasing that Ofsted has recognised the impact of our teaching and learning has on all children’s progress. I am also reassured that the targets identified by the Inspector are ones that are already part of our School Improvement Plan.
I am most proud of what the inspector says about the pupils and staff of the school and hope you will agree that the picture of High Wycombe Church of England School that takes shape in the report matches the Vision and Values statements that our whole school community contributes to.
‘Staff morale is high and teachers are enthusiastic’
‘Pupils show a good deal of self-confidence because they feel valued and well cared for’ (Ofsted 2017)
As ever, this provides a benchmark on which we shall build our efforts to improve the school further with our ambition to move from a good school to an outstanding one.
