Our first day back
It was wonderful see all the children to day and to start getting to know them. Today we discussed expectations and routines; then in the afternoon we explored the British value of democracy. We had a brief discussion and established that a lot of the decisions about the law of our land are made in the Houses of Parliament, so we spent some time drawing them for a new display.
I am looking forward to teaching the children next week. We going to start place value in maths and The BFG in literacy.
