Our trip to London Fire Brigade Museum
On Thursday 19th November Year 2 went to the London Fire Brigade Museum. Here we learnt about the Great Fire of London and got to see lots of fire engines. There were lots of different ages of engine - including those that were used after the Great Fire. We also got to look at and try on different firefighter uniforms. Again some of these were older and some were the ones that firefighters wear today. In the afternoon we walked to the Monument for the Great Fire and saw Pudding Lane - although it looks very different now!
