On Friday 29th January Year 2 visited the River and Rowing Museum in Henley on Thames. We were going to meet up with our new friends from Holtspur School. When we got there we had to find our partner and give them their name labels that we had written for them. We then split into two groups and played some games to get to know our partners. Then we started on the activities set by the museum. Group A had to paint a picture of the river bed, whilst Group B had to draw the boats and fishes that we could see in the museum. After we had finished we swapped over and completed the opposite activity. In the afternoon we finished our pictures of the river bed by sticking on the boats and fish that we had drawn. Our finished pictures look quite impressive.
