St. Bernards - Week 1
St Bernards ~ Week 1
On Monday year five visited St. Bernards School. They will be going every Monday for 5 weeks. During this time they will be having three lessons; Maths, Science and Design & Technology.
This week we used the lap tops for Maths and completed some games and puzzles. We then went to Science and conducted some experiments involving mixing chemicals with water to see the reaction. The reactions were all very different and we had to record what we saw. Finally we went to Design and Technology where we were split into two groups. The project we will be taking part in is Moving Toys using a CAMs mechanism. Half the class looked at CAMs and designing moving toys and the other half started to make the frames for their moving toy.
We had a great time and are looking forward to going back next week.
