We really enjoyed meeting Rory!
On Friday, we were visited by Rory one of the dogs from Stokenchurch Rescue Centre. He was brought along by Joyce, his owner and she talked about the Rescue Centre and the work they do there. Rory was really friendly and we all had a chance to stroke him, his fur was very fluffy! During the visit we found out that Rory is a mixed breed and is half Border Collie, half Bearded Collie. We asked lots of questions while Rory settled down for a nap on the floor!
Over the next few weeks we are going to be collecting old sheets and towels, dog food and dog treats that Mrs Waldron will drop off at the centre before Christmas for all the other dogs like Rory. if you would like to help, there will be a box outside Year 1 every Friday until the end of the term.
