Week 5
In Literacy we are continuing to read Hidden Figures and the children have enjoyed exploring the themes in the book. We also started exploring and writing non-chronological reports.
In Maths we have revisited multiplication and division and the children have shown great determination to master the methods and problem solving in this topic. They have all tried really hard and shown excellent progress this week.
In other topics; we have continued ultimate frisbee and scored lots of points as our aim and accuracy improved, we wrote newspaper articles about the strikes in the 1970s, designed our moving toys, investigated planets and their orbits in Science, researched European festivals in Geography and did a great job of completing our Lent challenges whilst thinking about the message of Easter.
