Week 5

Week 5

Highlights from this week are:

Maths - the children were exploring fractions of amounts, which they found quite challenging, so we shall do some more work on this in the summer term.

English - the children wrote their own adventure story, a sequel to Peter Pan. I enjoyed reading their exciting and engaging stories which they had worked so hard to write.

PE and games - the focus has been on physical activity and keeping moving, which the children manage very well. On Thursday they took part in the half termly class competition, which was Crazy Catch. The winning team will be announced in our next sports assembly.

This week we congratulated Jesse and Kaleb for coming first place in the winter Strava running competition. Also congratulations to Reuben, Kaleb and Iqra, who received certificates in our achievement assembly on Friday.
