Week 1
We have had a jam packed first full week following our timetable introducing all the topics we are learning. The children wrote letters to me in Cross curricular writing telling me about their summers, which was a nice way to begin to get to know them better.
As you will see from the photographs, we have tried to do some outdoor learning this week and even had some indoor fireworks to get us in the mood for writing as part of our English topic - The Firework Maker’s Daughter.
Next week in Maths we will be focusing on addition and subtraction; but I think what most of the children are looking forward to most is their swimming lesson on Wednesday.
